The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program will be requiring all landlords who receive Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) to receive their paychecks by direct deposit. Also, please be advised that effective February 1st, 2015 HAP payments will only be processed on the 4th of every month.
In order to comply with the above, you must complete a direct deposit form and submit it to the HCV Program. To process your Direct Deposit by February 4th, 2015, we must receive your completed form by January 23, 2015. Forms received after January 23, 2015, will be processed starting March 4th, 2015.
Please be advised that all forms must be received by February 20, 2015, as no paper paychecks will be processed for March 4th, 2015. The direct deposit form must be turned in by February 20, 2015, to avoid a delay in payments. Please be advised that Holidays may affect the deposit date. The direct deposit form is hereby attached and also available online at www.hacb.us under the “Landlords” tab.
We will send you the monthly payment statement via electronic mail. Therefore it is extremely important that you provide us with your email account. We will not mail out paper statements anymore.
